Our services are offered for Ash trees with a diameter at chest height 4.5 feet off of the ground. Contact us for an evaluation of your Ash tree to either protect or eventually remove. When determining whether it is best to treat a tree or remove it, we encourage home owners to consider the maturity of a tree, tree health, effect of property and curbside value, effect on energy cost, sentimental value, and cost of removal and replacement.
If you choose to treat, we are currently offering every other year injections of insecticide. We complete most of these injections in the spring; however, injections can be completed through September. Once a tree shows symptoms of infestation, control may be difficult.
Although there are no guarantees, a healthy Ash tree can be expected to survive indefinitely when injecting with insecticide, as long as the tree is otherwise healthy. Under the current product guidelines, it is necessary to treat your Ash trees every other year for the lifespan of the tree.
